Immorel Beverages is a women-owned line of sparkling mushroom-based teas that brings the health benefits of functional mushrooms to the masses. Our teas elevate your mind and body in a way that's delicious, tingly, and a little evil. We strive to create products that are good for you (none of that nasty added sugar or preservatives). Our brand is fun and mischievous, without the pretentiousness often associated with wellness culture. Mushrooms are for everyone, and we hope to expand our mycelial network to all parts of the world. -- Immorel Beverages was founded by Charlotte Rogg and Hayley Kats in the Spring of 2021. They believe in the power of mushrooms to elevate your mind and body in a way that's delicious, tingly, and a little evil. In the Summer of 2020, Charlotte was looking to make a career change and Hayley was searching for an idea for her grad school thesis. They had become obsessed with finding functional food and beverages, searching for something that would give them: a boost without a crash and burn, inspire their creative juices, and maybe even make them feel a little euphoric. Mushrooms were the answer to Charlotte’s desire to work for herself, and Hayley’s final project. Mushrooms were also the answer to many of their continuous ailments: fatigue, anxiety, and brain fog, to name a few. After some light research (and scheming), they realized that a ready to drink mushroom beverage didn’t even exist (yet), and they got to work on crafting their own. While both working their 9-5 day jobs, the two began experimenting with their favorite mushrooms, concocting spice-driven and fruity flavor combinations to formulate the first ever sparkling mushroom-based functional tea. After a series of “mushroom” parties, COVID-19 scares (thanks Omicron), and ridiculous shipping delays, Immorel Beverages was born out of the pandemic and made its debut in the streets of Brooklyn, New York in January 2022. Immorel's line of functional mushroom teas aims to embrace health culture in a dark, mischievous way, while offering flavors that will tantalize bored taste buds. Immorel is intended for everyone, anytime, anywhere, and for any occasion. The functionality of our teas allows us to be a wellness drink (without the pretentiousness), a 2 PM pick me up, an alcohol alternative, or even an alcohol enhancer.
